In conjunction with the release of the single, JES is launching the AWAKEN Campaign to encourage people everywhere to do something positive throughout the month of February. JES wrote the song “Awaken” about personal strength and embracing the beauty of life so in light of recent tragedies involving the youth of today she is reaching out to fans and friends across the globe. She is donating her time and supplies to assist the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center during the first month of the AWAKEN Campaign. The Center’s services for LGBT youth include one-on-one mentoring, a charter school and after-school programming as well as food, clothing and meals for homeless youth. In addition, JES is inviting fans to post photos and comments to her social networking sites of their own positive contributions.
